The Auld Shebeen Gastro Bar is situated on the banks of the Canal in Athy, Co. Kildare.
We are 150-seater bar, lounge, outdoor terrace, private dining area and 3-bedroom B&B. The pub has a traditional personality with a trendy and stylish finish. The newly designed Canalside B&B will open its doors June 2020. Food is served daily. Like the pub, the menu has notes of traditional and edgy dishes suitable for all tastes. We are family focused at The Auld Shebeen Gastro Bar and fully wheelchair accessible.

Continental Breakfast available till 11am or why not pop to our amazing Town Café just a couple minute walk for a full Irish or much more served from 9am to 12pm (breakfast in the Town Café included in your price)
